Character Bio

Dante Esposito was an orphan who grew up on the streets of his native Venice as a petty thief who had always chaffed under authority and was marked with a cruel and vicious streak. Dante had always felt that fate had dealt him a poor hand and that the world owed him something, it was an obsession that conusmed him and drove him to commit even more unspeakable acts of evil as he grew ever bitter. Dante left no stone unturned in his quest for power and revenge on a world that wronged him. This lead Dante down the path of occult study and it was in his research that he uncovered a means to exact retribution on the world and ultimately gain the power he craved in the form of an ancient artifact, a mask known as
Laruae Opis. His quest took nearly a lifetime to complete and nearly his life as well, but in an unknown cave Dante found the Laruae Opis and donned the ancient artifiact. There the nearly shattered Dante and his soul were bunred away allowing the monsterous Malakoda to enter the world again.
