Character Bio

Few are called upon to fill the role of the eternal champion and bear the burden of the Silver Fire, but the human formally known as Albert Smythe was one such person. A technician who had been employed at the Terra Volta Reactor, Albert bravely sacrificed his life to help some heros escape before a reactor meltdown occurred. Although the explosion was contained, Smythe was utterly destroyed (or so all had thought). On that very same night, the being known as Argent Sojourner fell from the sky into the icey waters of Independance Port, his comatose body recovered by Paragon City authorities. The Sojourner was intensely studied while his body completed its tranformation. Curiously the Sojourner had an energy signature similar to the Kheldians, suggesting some link to them, but his physical form did not possess the same traits as a kheldian/human hybrid. The sojourner has little memory of his past life but is possesed of the same noble spirit of Albert Smythe.
