Character Bio

The Portable Localized Micro-Earthworks Hewer (P.L.M.E.H) unit was supposed to revolutionize the construction industry by using hypersonic frequencies to break up the ground at construction sites and allow it to be removed quickly. However, during the inital phase of testing, the prototype unit developed severe damage during a test run and the fusion reactor began leaking radiation. Fearful of a disasterous explosion, engineers attempted to shut down the unit. However, the unit developed self-awareness and fled the area, not wanting to be shut down and repaired. Not wanting to be known by it's former functional designation, the unit remembered the engineers remarking about it's power potential of 2 terajoules, and with a wry twist on that name, became known thereafter as "Terra Joule".
