Character Bio

Everything changed for Geri Montjoy on her 14th birthday: her wealthy guardian revealed that he was the armored hero known as Knight Bachelor. She learned that he received his powers from an ancient and sacred artifact, a red, green and gold banner known as the Oriflamme. Trained by her mentor to take up his mantle, she spent six years as his sidekick, Banneret; together they made New Orleans a safer city. During the great devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Knight Bachelor was killed--was it truly an act of God, or an act of some unknown villain? There was no time to investigate. Geri was summoned by the monks of the Order of St. Denis to take on the powers of the Oriflamme. Once she had been imbued with the holy fire, the Order removed her, and the banner, to Paragon City, for reasons they have yet to reveal.
