Character Bio

Buffy Worthington's father Jack worked as a research scientist for Crey, studying practical applications of Rikti technology.  He had some inert nanobots that he'd set on the kitchen counter one morning, which Buffy mistook for sugar and sprinkled on her shredded wheat.  It was a windy day, and she kept getting shocked off of everything she touched, and the combination of static electricity and her own biochemistry brought the nanobots to life.  She was cheering the basketball team, and when she yelled "Who do we appreciate?", her voice blew out one wall of the gym.  Her latent psychic abilities were also awakened by the nanobots, which her father can't get out of her system, so Crey has given her devices to throttle the power down somewhat so she can control it a little.
