Character Bio

Former Master Sergeant David Bellingham was invited to a demonstration of a prototype combat suit, partly because he was friends with a few of the officers and others present, but mostly because they wanted his expert eye. It was an open secret that he was tinkering with recovered parts from battlesuits.
After the demonstration David was giving his assessment to the officials present and inadvertantly offended the designer of the suit, who had a psychotic break and disappeared from the briefing. The next thing that anyone knew, the suit that had just been demonstrated was attacking the briefing area.
David had brought along a proto-type of his own to show a few of the attendees and managed to get away long enough to get it on and powered up. He then demonstrated the weaknesses in the other suit and was unsurprised to see the designer inside.
It was jokingly suggested that he should register as a hero, he did just for the fun of it, and discovered his expertise was needed.
