Character Bio

Son of popular costumed crimefighter The Shrike and WWII hero Colonel Thomas Anderson, Tom Jr. inherited his old man's toughness and a little of his mom's mystical power. It made him just a bit stronger, faster and tougher than normal humans--and helped make him 'the best pilot he ever saw'. In 1963, his famous parents mysteriously disappeared, leaving 16 year old Tom to look out for his younger sister Athena. Tom flew F-4 Phantom IIs over Vietnam, then went on to become an instructor and later, test pilot. His abilities earned him a place in the space program. NASA had a secret project in the works--a shuttle based on alien tech, some of it recovered by his parents' supergroup Allied Force. On his final flight as commander, the tech malfunctioned, throwing him through the space/time continuum and into the alternate dimension containing Paragon City. He was surprised and delighted to find his sister there before him, as well as the younger versions of his parents.
