Character Bio

Conceived while her mother wore a mystic amulet, Athena Anderson was born different. Her strange mutation lay dormant during her childhood. Before her famous parents could tell her about her physical differences, they mysteriously disappeared, leaving Athena in the care of her older brother, Tom. Puberty saw the onset of her odd symptoms: she literally began to heat up. The heat became greater over time. Luckily, the survivors of her parents' old super group, Allied Force, and an interested government agency, were there to help her through her difficult teen years. Using alien technology, they even created a containment suit for her, and an underground apartment. After some years, she began to emit radiation in addition to heat. She became dangerous to her loved ones, and she resigned herself to the fact that she would never hug her nieces and nephews, or pet a kitten, or pick a flower. Only her suit allowed her to interact with normal humans at all. (RPer)
