Character Bio

History has forgotten most of Paragon's first wave of costumed crimefighters. Who now remembers those scrappy heroes known as the Fourth Estate? Just to recall their names is to invite nostalgia: The Muck-Raker! Girl Friday! Kid Extra! The Public Eye! Byline, Hot Type, Bold Face...and of course, the little gal who was so popular with GIs: Miss Paige Turner, aka PinUp Girl! A member of the group's so-called Late Edition, Miss Turner joined the Fourth Estate in 1942. She wielded her knives in their service for only a few years. The Fourth Estate withered and died during the post-war era, most of the former heroes falling into obscurity. Miss Turner was no exception, and like her friends, she seemed doomed to be remembered as a footnote to history.

Recently, several sightings of a figure eerily reminscent of PinUp Girl have been reported. Though only diehard hero buffs recognized the costume, it certainly seems that Miss Turner--or someone new--has taken up the knives once more. ((RPer))
