Character Bio

Preston Zerben lived a fairly average life, going to school, playing video games, and reading comic books. On summer break, as his parents dragged him around to antique stores, he saw an antique jeweled pendant and asked the clerk if he could see it. As soon as it touched his hand, there was a humming noise and a flash of light straight out of the center jewel and into Preston?s forehead. When he woke up in the hospital, his head was throbbing. As he was about to ring for the nurse, to find out what had happened, he sneezed and blew the door off its hinges. He discovered later that he?d gained psionic and weather powers from that amulet, which had crumbled to dust after zapping him. His parents sent him to Paragon City, where he finally came out of the closet and started learning to use his powers to help others. He?s shopping for a boyfriend too, but until he can stop accidentally casting snowstorm in the height of passion, he?s not feeling too hopeful.
