Character Bio

Barbara Carter's parents were hippies... the wacky kind, who couldn't keep their hands off of anything they could eat, smoke, or shove up their .. well, you get the idea. Something about the combination of things they experimented with did something to their DNA, and when Barbara was born, there were bursts of flame that didn't last long, but burned everyone's hair off in the room. In later years, as some control over her powers started to develop, her parents joked with her about the burning bush at her birth... and because she herself has a wicked sense of humor, she took a variant of it as her name.
