Light sensitive as a child, and better at hide and seek than most, Coeur's parents didn't think she was that unusual. But coming home late one night from a date, some muggers accosted her on the street. Her fear turned to fury and the very shadows themselves attacked the muggers while concealing her from their vision at the same time. And thus, a heroine was born.
