Belle Devereaux was raised by loving, generous parents... too generous. Before puberty had even hit, she'd had experimental cosmetic surgery, a personal driver, and a private tutor who basically did all the work for her. However the household cook was not Belle's biggest fan. She couldn't stand the pampered little ninny. Thinking she'd teach her some respect, Anna took Belle out for a picnic, and quietly conjured a storm filled with lightning bolts to frighten Belle into having some better manners. To both of their surprise, Belle deflected the lightning and dispersed the storm in a display of magic that neither of them knew was possible. Anna started teaching Belle to harness her powers, and Belle went off to Paragon High where she lords her beauty over her classmates by day, and saves people from villains by night.
