Lord Lao is a nice guy when you get to know him. He's polite, patient and understanding when he takes the time to talk to someone. Then again, if he's talking with you, he's already decided you aren't worth killing. Everyone else just has to come to terms with the ninja-to through their back. Lao has no morals. Lao has no scruples. Brock, the thief Lao adopted as his primary authority figure, murdered both of Lao's parents in front of him. They had caught Brock stealing from their store. Lao waited to 'sort him out' for two years until he had learned everything the man had to teach. Now that Lao has the backing of an entire clan of crack shinobi there's nothing he is unwilling to do. We'll see where he goes from here. . .
