Character Bio

Operative Lanaya was once an officer of the Paragon Police Department, discovered to have latent psychic powers and taken into the Psi-Division training program. Before long, she attracted the attention of Arachnos, and was abducted with the intent of turning her into one of Lord Recluse's Fortunata.
Due to reasons mysteriously not detailed in her file, she was assigned to watch over one of the Destined Ones, who appeared in the Isles around the same time she was brought there - this supervillain also exhibited supernatural mental powers, and was known only as subject One Eight Zero.

Curiously enough, Operative Lanaya's true psionic potential only emerged after One Eight Zero disappeared. Since then, she has become one of the more powerful Fortunata working for Arachnos, and also one of Lord Recluse's most loyal and professional followers. She retains the skills she learned in Night Widow training while her psychic power was suppressed, however.
