Character Bio

George Braden loved the movies. Orphaned at an early age, he grew up in a series of foster homes, mostly unloved by one set of foster parents after another, and dreamed of someday being IN the movies!

He spent several years trying to realize this dream - when finally, a big break came! Big, being relative - when you're completely unknown, landing the starring role in a national TV spot seems big! He was going to be the spokesperson for a new series of ads for Jolt Cola. The director wasn't terribly enamored with George's acting skills, however, and required him to perform take after take, in which he sipped the Cola. Unknown to anyone at the time, the crate of Jolt Cola that the studio had acquired for the shoot, had accidentally become irradiated.

Drinking such large quantities of the irradiated substance imbued George with the proportionate speed of "twice the sugar and ALL the caffiene!" Now, as Silver Streak, he stars in films, fights crime, and signs autographs for fans... all at the same time!
