Character Bio

Lorelei Bourne was raised in Ely Minnesota. Her mother, Elsa was a blacksmith, and is quite adept at her trade. Her late father Alfred was a miner, working in the iron ranges. He was crushed in a mining accident, like so many others, so Lorelei barely knew her father.

She learned to survive in the wilderness, with a blade forged for her by her mother. Durring her training, she also learned of an ancient art, of tima manipulation. She can easily dodge most attacks, and even move faster than a normal human should be able to. Her blade Kagami isn't known to be magical in nature; although it does sometimes seem to have a mind of its own...

Lorelei departed from Ely shortly after her eighteenth birthday, to study psychology and religion.Recently, Lorelei has been traveling with her cat Chi, and spending a lot of time in the nebulous areas known as the Shadow Shard. Bent on uncovering its mysteries, she has also been seeking a safer means of travel between the floating pillars.
