At the age of five, Verna Green?s pet venus fly trap killed the neighbour?s terrier. Her PhD, entitled ?The family Boraginaceae and its Potential as a Deurbanizer? was considered ?ambitious, if slightly unhinged?. Soon learning that mainstream science was still unready to help her realize her dreams of reforesting the Earth at the expense of its human population, Professor Green began a life of petty vandalism and malicious bioengineering, and is believed to be the insane mastermind behind the infamous Carnivorous Dutch Elm Incident at New Delhi. She is of course aware that Lord Recluse is unlikely to help her make her dreams manifest; but for the time, serving him in his villainy offers excellent opportunities to travel throughout the Rogue Islands, carrying a mysterious collection of seedlings wherever she goes ?
