Character Bio

In mid-2001 a series of murders took place in the Nerva Archipelago. The victims were five men and two women. In each instance the victim died from severe lacerations though the RIP were unsure whether the weapons were knives or claws. Two of the early murders happened in broad daylight in front of witnesses who later remembered seeing nothing but inky blackness and hearing the muffled screams of the victims. One of the media outlets dubbed the murders the handiwork of a 'dark alley slasher' and the name stuck.

There were only seven victims total and the events of Sept. 11 made the entire thing seem small in comparison.

It's rare for a woman to be a serial killer and rarer still for her murders to be so violent. Of course, a mutant with iron blades extending eight inches past her knuckles who can manipulate shadow is no common occurrence either.

The difference between 'murder' and 'vengeance' can be a very fine distinction indeed.
