Character Bio

Originally an American in Japan to teach English, George Dreyfus had a fondness for myths and enjoyed tracking down the roots of such stories. Much to his chagrin, one of the tales of oni (spirits) that plague sea travelers was more than a myth and Dreyfus found himself the prisoner of just such a creature. Dreyfus managed to convince the oni not to eat him if he could find a way to let it exist in daylight. Being a storm oni, it was unable to roam freely unless the weather was stormy.
Dreyfus risked life and limb to deal with a shadowy clan of ninja who would grant him access to their ancient scrolls for research if he could convince the oni to serve them. He finally found that if the oni possessed a man it could go wherever the man did. Learning this, the oni immediately possessed poor Mr. Dreyfus and invited some lesser oni to possess his ninja allies. Their struggle with the rest of the ninja lasted most of a year but Sensei Makaze and his brethren emerged victorious & ready to sow chaos.
