Background Summary: Lysandra Dale was a former scientist for the group Aratnos, the Purrth version of Arachnos. However, she was captured during a Phalanx raid upon an Aratnos lab. This was close to four years ago. After her capture, she agreed to a plea baragin, giving the Phalanx the location of other Aratnos labs. She has since been working as a scientist for Longpaw.

Her powers of fire and ice come from a formula that she developed while working with Longpaw so that she could help more in the field. Her powers, however, are not perfected and she does have to periodically inject herself with the same formula in order to keep them. This has left her powers unstable and they do change occasionally sometimes for the better, most times for the worst.
