Character Bio

In a reality much like our own, a wealthy philanthropist found an arcane artifact, a war mace, that bestowed upon its wielder the power of a thunder god.  He assumed the mantle of the Midgaard, defender of all who dwell in the mundane world from the forces beyond. The Midgaard's antithesis was Utgaard, a psychotic killer also embued with the power of a god, who seemd motivated by nothing more than the desire to bedevil Midgaard, usually through acts of catastrophic evil or chaos. After several years the Midgaard finally rid the world of the malevolent trickster. He shattered the staff that bound Utgaard to his dark patron, but in the process opened a rift into the void between space and time. The Midgaard was transported across the 9 realms and emerged through a portal in Paragon City, but he did not emerge whole; he became much more insane than Utgaard ever was.
