Character Bio

Before the Rikti War, Hideyori Tetsuo was a firefighter and considered his occupation demanding but fulfilling. He put his life on the line many times during the invasion to save people in trouble, but his selfless spirit finally outstripped his mortal ability when he dashed into a burning building to save a trapped boy. As he came within sight of the child, a support beam fell and pinned him to the ground. He started to fall unconscious but then he felt his body float away from the heat and flame and drift towards emptiness as his mind sensed something bright in the distance.

The brightness emanated from a strange looking entity, who asked him why he had risked his life. Tetsuo had no answer but to say that he wanted to do the right thing. The entity stared at him and then cryptically replied "You will."

The onlookers outside were astonished when a silver and red figure emerged from the ruined building moments later, holding the trapped boy in his arms. He set the child down and silently flew away.
