Character Bio

Detective Kimball started her criminal justice career at an early age, solving minor mysteries and standing up to small town bullies with a precoccious young boy who most believed was the brains behind the duo. Though Sally was certainly more athletic than her crime solving but bully prone partner, she never actually raised a finger or a fist to protect him. She didn't need to.

Though her friend was book smart, Sally had a mental toughness that he lacked. Bullies would quietly back down if she put her penetrating glare on them and if they thought they could pick on a young girl and her nerdy friend, a menacing thought from her would literally put them on their keister.

She let her friend take the glory for those early days of crimefighting but she grew up with a healthy respect for justice from those experiences. She eventually entered police academy and earned the notice of the PPD's Psi-Ops Division, who quickly realized that her disarming presence was actually much more than the eye could see.
