Character Bio

Sergeant Fran 'Flashbang' Dessler earned her nickname from her colleagues by always being the first to annouce her presence to the criminal elements of Paragon City with a flash and a bang. Gifted with the psychic ability to affect sense perception, she can debilitate her adversaries with an overwhelming deluge of sensory pollution as well as strengthen her allies by enhancing their senses and creating a combat analgesic effect by reducing their reaction to pain.

Recruited into the PPD Psi-Ops Division soon after her abilities manifested in adolescence, she has since matured into a tough and impetuous young officer with a hands on approach to crimefighting. Preferring to keep her finger on the streets instead of being chained to a desk, she is unlikely to rise much further in the ranks but if you asked her, she probably wouldn't want it anyways.
