Cowgirls don't cry.

Young Alice Morgan learned the hard way that pain doesn't stop just because tears come out of your eyes. It took losing one to a grizzly bear to figure that out, or so goes the tale. The boys whisper that she killed it with her bare hands afterwards in rage. The boys that are still alive anyways. One by one over the years, the band of outlaws and ruffians she fell in with were laid low by the long arm of the law. That didn't make no difference to Morgan. She just told them to get their fool hides up and somehow they did. No lead bullet, no bludgeon, no hanging of the neck could stop any of her boys from just creaking back up to their feet, forced joint by joint by the sheer ire of their boss.

And so they ride. Because this cowgirl don't cry, she kills.
