Character Bio

This former nuclear physicist once believed that her curative and destructive superpowers stemmed from a scientific accident involving what she had then classified as a rare radioactive isotope of promethium. The chunk of ore that became embedded into her chest as a result, however, was not comprised of any element found on Earth.

It was a Nictus shard.

As she used her newfound powers more and more, she began to share her consciousness with the alien lifeform that was slowly becoming part of her and although she was wary of the changes to her body and mind at first, the relationship eventually proved to be a symbiotic one. The green shard once encased in a protective containment suit slowly began to glow purple over time as its true nature was revealed and with that newly realized power, Miss Promethium Noir continues her original mission to bring justice to Paragon City to this day.
