Character Bio

Maggie Mae once used to work at one of the pubs in Sharkhead Isle. She was a popular waitress and most of the sailors would come just to see her at work. However, there was one in particular who vowed to make her his own. He was the captain of a pirate crew, so when a disinterested Maggie had turned his proposal down, he became desperate and sent his men to kidnap her.

Maggie was then forced into a life of piracy, although she was rarely able to leave her room. The captain would try and shower her with gifts and precious jewelry from their plundering, but Maggie refused. He had had enough at one point, and forced her to wear a precious red amulet on a gold chain, to match her red hair. This amulet turned out to be a Circle of Thorns heirloom that granted its wearer fiery powers.

Not only did Maggie get her revenge on the pirate captain, she took over his pirate crew and became acquainted with Captain Mako through her sailing adventures, who made her his new protege at first sight of her capabilities.
