A sidekick and a lackey--that's all I ever was. Truth be told, it wasn't all that bad. I had a fairly typical relationship with my mentor, even though he wasn't exactly typical. How many robots with a soul do you know running around?

But that was never really the point of our arrangement. Ghost Widow assigned me to him to learn what he had to teach and to learn what his plans were. Needless to say, his particular plots surprised even me. I never told Ghost Widow, of course. At some point, my loyalty had shifted away from her and instead to him. It was, naturally, something I'd be forced to pay for.

And so now, here I am--outcast from my own dimension. Such is the wrath of Arachnos. It is a situation I content myself with, for I am still a soldier, after all. Nevertheless... the time has come for me to be more than just a sidekick. I must say, it is a time long in coming.
