My name is Asiko Yokametsu, though my fellows know me more simply as Mirage. I come to Paragon City to find a lost kindred spirit, whose story is more confusing than I believe you have time for. Suffice it to say that he is a rather unique person whom I fear has fallen in with bad sorts.

I blame myself for this. You see, he and I were students together. He sought knowledge of the soul and inner harmony, but I yearned more for the arts of combat over the asthetic. Hence, I guided him towards his inner monster, and together we learned to be killers of the worst sort. He returned to the Rogue Islands, I have learned, and now commits horrible atrocities while he searches for the answers I could not give him.

I must find him. Perhaps I can put a halt to his madness. At the very least, perhaps we might forgive each other for our own transgressions to one another.
