Scarlet Garnetti was never a violent woman. She enjoyed the peaceful, quiet things in life, and did her best to stay out of the way of trouble. Unfortunately, the Rikti War was not kind to peaceful, quiet people.

Scarlet's world was turned upside down when the aliens attacked. Most of her friends and loved ones were killed in those first horrible hours. She survived only because of the heroic actions of Synapse the Speedster, who pulled her to safety. The valiant struggles of the world's heroes inspired her, as did their great sacrifices.

She set out with the single goal of joining their ranks to combat the villains of the world. She used her resources to get her hands on quantities of Impervium, which she had forged into a mighty battle suit for her to don. Quantum energizers in her suit's gloves turn her average punches into havoc strikes. She's finally ready to kick butt and take names in the cause of justice.
