Character Bio

Summer was a normal kid growing up. She went to school and played with her friends until she turned nine. That was when the fires started happening. They were small at first, just little brushfires that she would quickly stomp out and tell no one about. She swore her closest friends to secrecy and managed to keep her firestarting a secret until she hit puberty 4 years later. That was when the conflageration began. She could no longer keep it from her parents when a school wing went up in flames after she got mad at a teacher for giving her a B- on a test. A scientist at the University told her and her parents that Summer's powers were linked to her emotions. She managed to keep her emotions in check until she was in her 20s. She was waiting for the local Ash Hauler to come around and she always got excited on those days. This day was no different, except that in her passion she lost focus and her house went up in flames. Luckily her beau was a quick thinker and knocked down the door with an axe.
