Character Bio

Ever since she was born, Linda found herself unknowingly keeping things - and persons - out of harm's way. It wasn't until she detoured a bus into a shrubbery to save a friend running out in front of it someone really noticed, though. The red tint eminating from the protective shield was pretty, she thought. 

After joining the G.I.F.T.E.D.-division she ran into someone from S.E.R.A.P.H explaining the reason for the colour shift, how absorbing, diverting and rearranging energy allowed her to remove energy from incoming objects and release it as harmless light, with the reddish tone indicating a low energy status. Linda nodded and smiled, not caring much about why it works. At the end of a three-hour lecture when the scientist obviously was hoping for a date, he mentioned that it could be considered a Hubble effect. She woke up at that moment, yawned, and adopted part of the name. The guy never got his date.
