Sophora was once a brilliant young student, studying for her master's degree in Botany. She accepted a lucrative internship with Crey, working with plant toxins, although she did not know her work was being used to develop biologial weapons. Her life was turned upside-down after an accident in the labs left her disfigured and with strange new powers she didn't understand. Sophora fights on the side of justice not because she feels it is the right thing to do, but because she hates Crey and others like them, and wants to prevent what happened to her from happening to anyone else.
