Character Bio

Merry is part of InnovoGen's BIRD Project--"Bioengineered for Infiltration, Recon and Dispatch".  BIRD soldiers are engineered to be quick and deadly, able to gather intelligence or dispatch a single target undetected.

Merry is MB-001, the prototype of the Mockingbird Project. He was in his early teen years when the higher-ups in InnovoGen caught wind of the Project. An internal investigation discovered that the entire Project was due to a senior exec involved in an affair with his secretary, who convinced him it would be cute to make mockingbird soldiers. Funding was cut immediately, and InnovoGen quickly learned that the prototype was...lacking. MB-001 was more interested in playing pranks than fighting. Slated for "disposal", he escaped when ecoterrorists crashed the lab and freed several prototypes, MB-001 included.

MB-001 retained enough programming to know that he is a soldier, specializing in stealth jobs. He's just very flighty about it, and can get easily distracted.
