Character Bio

Jennifer Marcus signed up for an experimental Crey program which was advertised as testing designer drugs designed to help fight cancer. It was in fact an attempt to replace their Crey Tank armor with implanted devices that would provide the same effects.

Unfortunately, the prototype devices performed poorly without the control field provided by the armor frame. After the operation, Jennifer's implants went badly out of control and incinerated her entire right arm, her left forearm, and badly burned part of her face. Crey's response was to retrofit some of the key components of a Crey Tank suit as prosthetics to replace Jennifer's ruined limbs. One key benefit of using the armor was that she had no arms to fit in the sleeves, so they could load the arms up with even more control devices, and place a neuro-interface device in the faceplate to give Jennifer more conscious control.

And control she gained; enough to escape and enough to become a hero. Not enough, unfortunately, to rebuild her broken life.
