Character Bio

Yelizaveta Alexeyev was a volunteer for the Soviet Union's experimental "Man of Steel" project. She became one of the original test pilots after her cover as a KGB field agent was blown and she was offered a posting of her choice as a reward for her excellent service to the Rodina in her final assignment.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Man of Steel project was mothballed in the wake of Russia's financial difficulties. In the ethical vacuum that followed, one of the prototype armor suits was sold on the black market in order to finance one former General's comfortable retirement.

Liza, unemployed after huge military and intelligence layoffs, learned from her contacts that the missing suit had been bought in Paragon City by a gang of cheap thugs newly enriched by Superadine sales. Seeing an opportunity, she made her way to the gang's hideout, where she disposed of them and reclaimed her precious suit. On her way out she had the misfortune to run into Ms. Liberty, who put her in the Zig.
