After his "death" by spontaneous combustion, Shishio was later found on the beaches of Peregrine Isle where he was taken in by Paragon's Forces. Having lost both his arms and legs, he could no longer go on as a manslayer, instead he decided to become good, with the stipulation that he could burn things to the ground.....seriously.
