In attempting to follow in her great-great-great grandfather's work in the area of psychological theology, Angela accepted a job as a research director at Crey Industries. While working there, she began dating Countess Crey's bodyguard, Hopkins. When it was learned that nothing survived of her grandfather's work, Hopkins brutally beat and raped Angela, then dumped her in a dumpster in King's Row.
