Character Bio

Chijin (which means "earthquake") grew up in a town in North Korea.  She demonstrated her powers at an early age, causing the pebbles on the riverbank to tremble, hence her nickname.  But as she grew up, she learned to hide them, suppressing her most fundamental identity. When her family disappeared, she realized he had to escape. Using all of her skills to pass the DMZ, she managed to slip unnoticed onto a freighter headed anywhere else -- finally landing, with surprise, at Paragon City.  She took up her childhood nickname and began the first steps to being a true hero.
