Character Bio

She?s the last of her line, a descendent of the Ash Born vampire Perish. She?s been carefully trained to use her power for the benefit of the vampires and especially her many times great-grandsire. Perish may be one of the Ash Born?s Elites but he cannot rule without a powerful Warlord to enforce his edicts. Mae must complete her training and bring her powers to their full measure before Perish will turn her into a vampire, one of the Ash Born who intend to rule this world and everyone in it. The only thing Perish doesn?t know is that Mae has other plans, and they don?t include taking orders from anyone.
Mae will train just as Perish wishes, those skills will be needed in her future. She's found a way to break free of Perish's blood bond. The Council's botched attempt at creating their own vampires has given her the break she needs. Mae hunts them whenever she can, secretly taking small amounts of blood from the pseudo-vampires to dilute Perish's influence and break free of the Ash Born.
