Character Bio

Scirocco's mystics acquired the body of a great demoness who had been slain by Hard Case. Their attempts to raise this demoness, Artaxerxa, required the use of a soul. Angela Hamilton's soul.

The results of the ritual were not what the Mu Mystics expected. Rather than returning the demoness to life, it merely restored her body to functioning and placed Angela's mind in control. The mystics left the Angela/Artaxerxa creature in a circle of binding and retired to discuss their next steps.

But this new creature possessed the soul of a mortal, and was not contained by the mystic bonds of the circle. Angela managed to escape and make her way to Paragon City.

As Angela slowly learns to control the demoness' vast power, she also finds her personality changing. She acts, dresses and speaks more boldly and more provocatively than she ever would have before her transformation. And she prefers to be addressed as Artaxerxa, a name which seems more her own than "Angela Hamilton" ever has.
