Working at a factory manufacturing force field generators comes in handy when you need spare parts for you home-made toys. That's what Ella thought when she took the job. Apparently, the employers weren't all to happy about her taking pieces of top secret material home, to use on her own "projects". They fired her. She shrugged, and went home to finish her first project. There were enough parts to get it going, but she needed something to power its movement. Fortunately, a guy that had been bugging her for a date for weeks stopped by her place. He looked surprised as Ella gleefully stabbed him in his throat and watched him suffocate. A little cutting and wiring later, his muscles was executing movements commanded by her engineering handy-work. She used her first biomech to break into her old job for more shield parts before finding a safe place in the Rogue Isles.
