Character Bio

Jacob Rubinov was recruited by the CIA in early 1981 for covert ops in Eastern Europe's Iron Curtain. A new American president came to power with grandiose ideas for the USSR and it's ilk. The problem was that the USSR didn't like to play with others. That's where Rubinov came into play. He could speak a dozen languages, primarily Slavic in origin. He began by helping the Mujahideen in Afghanistan fight the Soviet army. Soon, Rubinov was neck deep in arms deals, drug trafficing, and international espionage. In 1985, Rubinov was brought to the US for some special onsite training at a nuclear power plant, having no idea the massive destruction for which he was preparing. In November of that year, he infiltrated the ranks of the cleaning crew at Chernobyl nuclear plant in the Ukraine. On April 26, 1986 the whole world would learn the consequence of Rubinov's scheme. The reactors at Chernobyl would suffer a massive meltdown and produce nuclear radiation levels across Eastern Europe.
