Character Bio

His real name is Jonas The Dead Hand. His mother was a high priestess for the Circle of Thorns and his father unknown.  When his mother was murdered the 5th Column who wanted to dabble in the realm of the occult they took him away as a child for studying.  The thought of ethereal soldieries or using the undead for reconnaissance work seemed like a good idea.   As the Dead Hand grew older the 5th Column found instead he was a pacifist and a healer who would not take part on violence of others. This only made Jonas a little harder to manipulate, but he still came in handy on missions when foot soldiers would need to be healed.  The Dead Hand worked as an operative until he was critically wounded and abandoned at the end of a mission.  After being rescued by Paragon City
