Character Bio

Mayes Jameson, mild-mannered television presenter for the BBC's "High Gear" by day, was jokingly given his superhero name by co-presenters Clark Jermaine and Hamish Richards - and in his usual contrary fashion, took off with it. A skilled mechanic, he built devices to amplify his minor natural ability to distort people's perceptions of time by droning on for hours on end, such that with their aid he can effectively bring others nearly to a halt. Ironically, he himself can be very quick when he needs to, but never in public: A gentleman does not run.
