Character Bio

Banter Mrowry is from a feline dominated alternate Earth where he was a special-operations rifleman. He was selected for his scouting and survival skills to be a pathfinder into the unknown. A corporation had built a portal device - which would allow movement between realities.
They outfitted him with a modular firearm that could be adapted for different situations, integrated with specialized optical and targeting devices, and a set of kinetic energy enhanced gauntlets. After a short period of familiarization with his new equipment he was sent through the portal.
However, just as he entered the gateway, he heard alarms and weapons fire, experienced a brief flash of heat, light and energy, and blacked out.
When he awoke he found that he was on a planet similar to his own but dominated by primates. Unable to activate the recall sequence to take him home, he has instead melted into the local superhuman community and uses his training to aid the helpless he has found here.
He still seeks a way home.
