Character Bio

Captain Jacob Emerald has spent his life in the service of the PPD. His inhuman strength and unbreakable will have long made him a vital part of the force. But all things come at a price just as all things come to an end. Jake's power stems from a brain tumor, one that is slowly killing him. Very slowly as he's already in his mid-60s, but killing him all the same. Much to his dismay, immenent death is grounds for forced retirement. As his days with the force draw to a close, Jake begins to consider what to do with himself. A legacy of police work promised a life within the department, his father's murder cemented it. Jake's wife ha long since divorced him, a fight with his son had shattered their relationship. Last Jake had heard the boy even changed his name.
