As Rex Norris reached his 50th birthday, he was tired. He was let go from his job, and despaired of ever finding love. The night of his birthday, he was visited by a mysterious figure in his dreams, a pale but regal woman, who claimed to be a spirit of vengeance. She gave him a sword and a shield, both empowered by dark eldritch energy. That was decades ago. Since then, he has been a tireless warrior fighting for truth against the ever-encroaching darkness.
