Character Bio

Anastasia Dobrova - a member of the K.G.B.'s "Prognoviach" pursuit squad - lost both her arms in a high speed car crash while pursuing a Soviet defector in the former Yugoslavia.
Not wanting to waste her talents as an efficent killer, the K.G.B. enrolled her in Dr. Samusenko's "Soldat" program. Not only did they replace her lost limbs with advanced titanium alloy arms housing a pair of razor sharp claws, but used her as a test subject for Dr Samusenko's mutant gene therapy. This would give her the ability to regenerate.
However the process required as large dose of raditation and would kill the subject if the process took place instantainously.
So Dobrova was frozen in "cold storage" until the process had run it's course. While she lay there the political landscape of the world changed around her. The labratory lay dormant for years until chanced upon by former Red Army mercenaries.
Enraged at what she'd become, she vowed to hunt down Samusenko make him pay for his experimentation.
